First Freedoms Foundation (FFF) is a non-profit public interest legal foundation defending historic constitutional liberties and principles in Wisconsin. Ultimately, the Constitution pends progress and welfare on individual liberty and moral responsibility, not on government.

FFF Defends Liberty and Responsibility in 5 Foundations of Culture.

Free Speech and Election Law. Liberty and democracy depend on a free market of ideas. Established organizations and politicized agencies abuse speech regulations and election finance laws to suppress opposing views. FFF represents individuals and small organizations to ensure their voices are heard.

Religious Liberty. Excluding religious views from government is not neutral - it is a game in which one team is not permitted on the court. Even if there were a "wall of separation" in the Establishment Clause, government keeps moving the wall. FFF protects religious exercise and expression and the rights of individuals and organizations to participate in government programs and forums without religious discrimination.

Family Integrity. The father-mother-child relationship is grounded in nature and natural law. FFF defends that relationship because freedom and order are at risk when government replaces parents, or when courts normalize relationships which intentionally deprive a child of father or mother. FFF also protects family integrity against social service abuse and judicial redefinition of family.

Education. Tyrants throughout history have understood that whoever controls the schools controls the future. Education is organized in one of two ways - either parents or the state will control. FFF defends the rights of parents to choose the education they deem best for their children.

Property. Liberty cannot exist without the right to own private property and to earn a living competing on a level economic playing field. FFF defends against unconstitutional trade regulations and eminent domain abuse.
